Fishin Fever started on one radio station, WDMS and one TV station, WABG in my hometown of Greenville, MS.
As the show became popular, I could see where my idea was going to turn into a greater one. So I ventured down in to AR and LA, with my demo in hand, simply driving up to radio stations and saying “give me a shot”
That was in 1989. It wasn’t easy then and it isn’t easy now. But Daddy always told me “anything worth having won’t come easy”
Like any other business Fishin Fever had its bad times and I ventured into other businesses to keep it floating. It was my dream and I always managed to keep it alive. Now, thanks to you the listeners and sponsors, the Fishin Fever Show broadcasts over 10 states!
